1970s Anne Klein Couture Gown
A rare and beautiful early Anne Klein piece, this gown belongs on the red carpet or in the closet of a very fabulous girl! Truly one of the most extraordinary pieces I have yet to see. A column of silk in a brilliant blue is beaded and sequined literally from the top of that sexy one shouldered side to its bottom hem. There are flat sequins, faux pearls, studs and rhinestones all making up that incredible design! I love the one shoulder - there is no sexier silhouette. The hem was stitched uyp when it came to me but I have let it down to its original length and happily found that the hem had a matching band of glass beads that runs around the neckline. Its all lined in a sheer silk too so feel sheavenly on! Its just spectacular!

There are two spots on the right side were there is a pearl placed that is slightly larger- this may have been done at a later date but is being left as is. When I took the hem down I found a small area where the sequins are gone - its at the back and not noticeable. Its shown in the photo. It is fully lined in silk and closes with a side zipper. It should be dry cleaned when cleaned again in the future.
