Please take a minute and read my guide to how I measure everything! You can find it in the bottom row of links on every page of the site.
I measure the actual garment so that you can compare it to one of your own that fits you perfectly, rather then trying to sort countless sizing vintage methods into modern day standards.
I then sorted everything into these size charts and into size categories for you to use as a guideline to help you shop quicker!

1960s Couture Norell Caped Coat
Norell is one of the finest of the American designers and I am so pleased to offer this amazing caped coat. The color is astounding and is as vibrant in person as it is in the photographs! It is almost a neon orange and just wonderful. The coat is cut in that tubular 1960s shape and has a fabulous caped shoulder and two large patch pockets at the front. It has no sleeves - I have photoed it with the cape pushed aside so you can see how it is constructed underneath. He is known for his precision tailoring and was a master at designing ready to wear that could pass for couture and this coat leaves no doubt of that! Vogue wrote in 1966 "One coat is all he believes in, and one coat is all he shows—and it's enough." This is a truly wonderful piece of vintage couture and will only increase in value. Excellent condition

The tubular shape will allow this to fit a variety of sizes. It is hand finished inside, fully lined in a matching silk and extremely well made as you would expect. It buttons to close. Note that there are a couple of extremely tiny nips in the fabric that do not detract but are mentioned for accuracy. It should be dry cleaned when cleaned agian in the future.
