1960s Python Pierre Balmain
I died when this bag came across my desk. How fabulous is this original 1960s Pierre Balmain frame bag in python?! The front has their original logo in metal and the bag opens to one pocket with a smaller zipped pocket on the side. This is a total collector piece and very rare! The skin is in remarkable condition with no major lifting of the scales and it is still nice and soft and pliant. There a spot near the top of the back where a few scales have darkened from rubbing against the hip when worn but this just adds to its charm in my opinion. You will never see another bag like this again and when you compare this to the cost of a python bag now....
