Please take a minute and read my guide to how I measure everything! You can find it in the bottom row of links on every page of the site.
I measure the actual garment so that you can compare it to one of your own that fits you perfectly, rather then trying to sort countless sizing vintage methods into modern day standards.
I then sorted everything into these size charts and into size categories for you to use as a guideline to help you shop quicker!

The RSVP line is designed by Christine Davis from her constantly evolving collection of vintage textiles and frocks. A clothing maniac from the age of 12, she began collecting beads bangles and fabric during her childhood in Zambia and has never visited a place since without discovering some woven treasure. She is famous amongst family for having discovered a lonely flip flop on a beach in Tangiers- and for spending the next several weeks to come creating one very ornamental, yet still single shoe.
It was not until much later in life, and after establishing a extremely successful and continuing career as a visual artist, that she began to think about making clothes that reflected her passion for historical garments and textiles. Each dress is unique, conceived and created as an ecology of things past and present, an emblem of non-disposable fashion. Wearing an RSVP dress is like being cloaked in the mystery of eternal return.
Her capsule collection for Shrimpton Couture incorporates the finest vintage and antique remnants recreated, revived and looked at with an eye that only a true artist can bring; creating stunning one of a kind pieces that you will only find her |
