1960s Fully Sequinned Floral Stain Glass Window Dress

I have seen this dress somewhere in the past attributed to Valentino but have never been able to verify that so I am hesitant to attribute it as such. If it is then the person who buys it is getting a fantastic bargain! It certainly is of a quality to be from the designer and is quite beautiful. The sequins appear to be completely hand applied and when you see the dress in person the work and density of the sequin coverage blows you away. They are densely packed and I love the curving "stain glass" feel to the design. A border of yellow and pink edge the neckline and hem. Soft blue is broken up with black and a scattering of flowers rings the hem for the perfect pop of bright color. The shape is a classic shift that widens as it nears its hem so it is very easy to wear and comfortable. This one is especially beautiful because of the colors and intricacy of the design. Really super piece. Excellent condition.

Fully lined in a pale blue silk and closes with a back painted metal zipper. The sequins appear to be all applied by hand. There are a few missing sequins on one shoulder but this does not detract in anyway. Priced accordingly
