1960s Fully Beaded Pierre Cardin Evening Bag Clutch
This is a superb graphic beaded bag by Pierre Cardin. These are especially collectible and this one is a wonderful example. Te exterior of the bag is entirely covered in hand placed teeny tiny seed beads. On the front and extending over the sides is a graphic angular design in rich earth tones and coppers. The back is a solid panel of cream seed beads. This is set on a brass frame and it has a matching link chain that can be tucked in or worn over the shoulder. I love the enamel clasp on the top. Excellent condition
Lined in a cream silky satin with one side slip pocket and the original mirror. There are some light pink marks in the interior. I see no missing beads.
6.5" W x 7" H x 1" D - the handle adds 12.5" to the height

- items less then $500, or that are on sale, require a 50% deposit with the final payment due in two weeks from the date of deposit
