You know we died when we posted this Cartier Panther bracelet! What, after all is better than Cartier? (answer - vintage Cartier!) This fine Cartier "panther" 18K gold torque bracelet is a classic and a piece that you can pass down - it will never go out of style and is heirloom material. A flex torque cuff with sculpted "panther" head end caps is perfection to adorn any wrist. Diamond, Sapphires & onyx - Oh MY!

The panther is instantly associated with Cartier. 'La Panthère' became the nickname of Cartier designer, Jeanne Toussaint, who created their first ever piece of panther jewellery - a bracelet for the Duchess of Windsor in 1948. From that simple bracelet one of the most recognizable and iconic symbols was born.

And because we can't get enough of Cartier, we dug up this little film, L'Odyssée, produced by the house in 2012 as a celebration of their history and features, of course, a panther throughout!

"L'Odyssée is the the work of a vast team led by leading advertising film director Bruno Aveillan. He was supported by a crew of 60 on location, with a further team of 50 special effects technicians working on the post-production for six months. An original score was composed by Pierre Adenot, and the red dress worn by Shalom was custom-made by young Chinese fashion designer Yiqing Yinwith, while a total of three panthers were used for filming due to strict animal welfare laws" - Telegraph UK
