Skin Correcting and Natural Beauty

This week I dabble in skin correcting and demonstrate the popular no makeup makeup look. This topic touches on two vastly different decades, I reflect on the subtle power of glowing radiant skin as exhibited by vintage beauty icons like Marilyn Monroe, Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn. Hepburn and Kelly always wore their makeup very natural, which is why no makeup makeup makes me think of classic beauty. However, natural beauty looks hold a close association in many people’s minds to a vastly different era, Fresh-faced beauty is a trademark of the 1990s, in response to the outrageous fashion and beauty of the 1980s.

In my review of the Physician’s Formula Skin Correcting Kit I talk what I liked – and didn’t like and demonstrate an easy “no makeup” routine. The brand claims to be non-comedogenic, gluten free, fragrance free, hypoallergenic, dermatologist approved and paraben free. I thought this was a great starter kit. As for the claims I can vouch that the products are fragrance free, and non-comedongenic. I had no breakouts or skin issues during the weeks I have been using the kit and I loved the coverage. Watch the video and see the product in action.
